It’s been a while from the last post. I wish we could go into detail about the hell we’ve gone through with getting Robbie the life saving, FDA approved, & standard of care treatment he needs for his relapsed (due to delay in care) B Cell acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia but I will be posting the message our family has been sending messages to every local news outlet we can. It feels like our family has been at war with Robbie’s insurance and medical group to save his life. No one in charge of approving his treatments cares about his life!!!! He deserves to enjoy his life and see his children grow up, they need him! Our family is trying to bring attention to what has been going on more than ever after what has happened to a well known insurance CEO. What we are going through is unfortunately exactly related to why something like that happened. I can not keep my mouth shut any longer I’m going to shout until someone hears me. We are tired of the endless pointing of fingers as to whom is at fault for Robbie not receiving the care he is entitled to and needs to live! We are asking for everyone who shares our story through any source of social media to please tag the following news outlets and anything or anyone else you feel could help us or would benefit being aware of what we are fighting not just for Robbie but for everyone experiencing the same issues while fighting cancer. No one should have to go through this when fighting cancer!!!!

“Urgent: Help Robbie Receive Life-Saving CAR T-Cell Therapy

Our family is reaching out to you with a plea from the depths of our hearts. Robert Zuel—known lovingly as Robbie to his friends and family—is in a fight for his life. He is not just a husband; he is the father of two beautiful children, ages 6 and 2, and their world revolves around him.

Robbie has been battling cancer with unimaginable courage and strength. After enduring multiple rounds of intense chemotherapy, which have successfully prepared his body, he now urgently needs CAR T-cell therapy—a revolutionary treatment that could save his life.

Robbie’s treatment was approved, and his T-cells were extracted, sent to a lab for modification, and are now ready to be infused back into his body. However, we are facing a devastating delay due to the insurance bureaucracy. Despite having an authorization from his insurance plan, we are still waiting for a required "letter of agreement" to proceed. This delay is costing us precious time that he simply cannot afford. His medical group has also caused a delay in authorizing the required treatments for Robbie due to financial responsibility negotiations.

Grievances have been files, endless calls, and our family has fought with everything we lohave to get Robbie what he needs, but we are stuck. Every passing day feels like a lifetime, knowing that the treatment that could save his life is ready and waiting, blocked only by red tape.

Robbie is not just a patient. He is a loving husband, a devoted father, and a man cherished by everyone who knows him. His 6-year-old is beginning to understand the seriousness of his condition, and it breaks our hearts to see her worried for her dad.

We are reaching out to you in the hopes that you can help us share Robbie’s story. With the recent events of what happened with the tragic death of a well known insurance CEO and attention brought to denials from insurance companies for required medical treatment we believe that bringing attention to his situation could make a difference—not just for him, but for the countless others navigating these same struggles. Robbie’s life should not hang in the balance because of paperwork.

If you are willing to help, or if you would like to learn more about Robbie’s story, please don’t hesitate to reach out at *******@****.com. We are ready to provide any documentation, interviews, or additional details you may need.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your time, your compassion, and your consideration. We are praying that with your platform, you can help us be heard and make a difference for Robbie and our family.

Sincerely,

The Zuel family
